Formação do passado dos verbos regulares
                Regra geral: verb+ed Ex.: help -> helped.
- Verbos terminados em e acrescenta-se d Ex.: invite – invited
- Verbos terminados em y procedido de vogal – Acrescenta-se ed Ex.: play – played
- Verbos terminados em y procedido de consoante – Troca-se por y por i acrescenta-se ed Ex.: marry – married
- Verbos com a sequencias consoante (c), vogal (v), consoante (c) CVC, com a última silaba tônica, dobra-se a ultima letra Exs.: stopped – planned – preferred
